This is a lovely original drypoint copperplate engraving, signed and numbered 2/8 (rare proof) in pencil by French artist, Daniel Du Janerand. It's unframed and unmounted on heavy art paper.
On the back are New Year's greetings for 1982 signed by him and his wife.
This renowned and engaging artist was also a landscape painter, particularly of Brittany, where he is regularly featured in books about the region, especially those about the Côtes d'Armor.
