This is a charming Crown Ducal tureen, made in England, likely in the 1930s.
It's in excellent condition with no marks, chips or cracks. It has a lovely wheatsheaf pattern. There's a tiny bit of fading to the orange handle on the lid.
Crown Ducal was a trading name of A.G. Richardson & Co. Ltd, which was founded in 1915 in Tunstall, Staffordshire. The company became known for high-quality, hand-painted Art Deco wares, and was particularly popular in the 1930s.
