Charlotte Rhead Crown Ducal Tankard / Jug 1930s Art Deco Style Trellis Pattern

A stunning, signed Charlotte Rhead ceramic tankard / jug for Crown Ducal. I think this is from the mid-1930s.

It has the trellis pattern and is decorated with a beautiful array of colours. It's in excellent condition with no crazing, chips or cracks.

It has 198 on the base alongside Charlotte Rhead's signature and the Crown Ducal stamp.

Charlotte Rhead was a renowned ceramics designer in Staffordshire around a century ago, and her work is still very popular today.

Dimensions: 19.5cm x 13cm diameter (17cm wide including the handle).
