Antique St Mungo The Colonel Bramble Golf Ball Made in Glasgow Early 1900s

A great old bramble golf ball - 'The Colonel' made by the St Mungo Manufacturing Company in Glasgow, Scotland.

This is from the period 1906-1909, so well over a century old. St Mungo was one of the largest manufacturers of that time.

It was excavated many years ago at Forres Golf Club in the north of Scotland after a pond was drained.

The ball is still hard and intact, although it has strike marks and other wear from over the years.
